Sreynet's story

Farming is the most popular business activity for Cambodian people who live in the countryside, as well as for many people in some Asian countries.

Sreynet, age 26, is a married woman who is responsible for one child in Kiri Vong district, Takeo province.

She has many years of experience in farming, so she is confident she can maintain healthy crops and improve her farming practices from year to year. She is able to grow and harvest rice crops twice a year, and she usually generates a good income to satisfy her living needs.

Sreynet manages her income wisely and mainly uses it for her child’s education. She will educate her child up to a university degree, and this is her priority in life. Sreynet’s husband always assists her in growing the crops and also is a construction worker to earn additional income.

At the moment, Sreynet’s home is under construction, and she needs more materials to have it finished. Due to a shortage of money, she is asking for a loan to buy construction supplies for the renovation of her old home. She has requested a loan in the amount of KHR 8,000,000 to buy cement, bricks, and other equipment to renovate her house. She hopes that, through the help of the loan, she can provide everyone in her family with a suitable place to live and comfortable living conditions, and to have enough material to cover the roof, which is currently lacking.

Sreynet sends thanks to all lenders and promises to pay the loan back as scheduled.
