A loan helped to build a safe latrine at home.

Eat's story

Eat is 32 years old, married, and living with her family in the Bakan district of Pursat province. She is a farmer who owns a few hectares of farmland on which she grows various crops, including rice and potatoes.

To supplement the income from the farm, she raises some poultry for fattening which she sells to local butchers. By doing this, she is able to help her husband with the household income so they can provide food, medicine, education, and basic living needs for their children.

She is requesting a loan to build a safe latrine at home. She hopes to increase the value of her home by improving sanitation and ensuring healthy living conditions to protect her family and the environment.

With this loan she will be able to purchase construction supplies, such as bricks and cement, to build a safe latrine and pay for labor costs. She believes that she will be able to further develop her agribusiness and attain success one day through her efforts and the help of this loan.
