Kanguka Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, maize flour, Irish potatoes and banana plantains.

Kanguka Cb Group's story

Evelena is a 37-year-old mother of one child who is 7 years old. Her husband is a businessman and for the past four years, she has owned a shop.

Evelena is the leader of the group called Kanguka Cb (which in English means “Wake up”). Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses. Evelena will use her loan to buy more rice, maize flour, Irish potatoes and banana plantains to sell in her community and also be able to meet customer demand.

With the profits from her sales, she hopes to buy a few livestock so that she can rear them.

She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members but was able to photograph one representative.
