Lucciola Laurentina's story

Lucciola Laurentina and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the April 16, 2016 earthquake and now by the COVID-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Lucciola Laurentina is a seamstress and makes all types of clothes, especially for women and girls. She works every day producing garments. Previously, she sold Yanbal catalog products.

At first, the health crisis was very bad because she could not work making clothes, but now bit by bit she is resuming work in order to continue earning an income.

This loan will be used to buy thread, fabric, overlays, ropes, fasteners, etc. Her dreams are to have a factory in order to provide employment to others and for her family to be very healthy.
