Orebu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on three bales of second-hand clothing, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Orebu Group's story

Immaculee is a customer of the Hekima MFI and leader of the village group "Orebu". She is married, 32 years old, and the mother of eight children, four of whom are in school and four are younger; her partner is a trader.

She is a seller of second-hand clothing, having set up this business 10 years ago with start-up funds received from the Hekima programme to support her business; over the course of their support she has progressively developed.

With this new loan she will get supplies of three bales of second-hand clothing, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge in this work is related to the state taxes. She would like her children to continue to study and to feed her family.

Finally, she thanks Hekima and its partners for their support of non-bankable business owners in this context of the global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19, to respect social distancing measures.
