Hodari Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy plastic shoes.

Hodari Group's story

Stephanie is a customer of the MFI Hekima and the leader of the "Hodari" village group. She is married, 46 years old, and the mother of 7 children who all attend school. Her partner is a civil servant.

She sells plastic shoes. She started her business 18 years ago with start-up funds she received from her brother. She later joined Hekima to support her business, which has developed progressively. She will use this new loan to buy plastic shoes. Her main business challenge is related to state taxes.

She would like her children to continue with their education, and to buy a plot of land.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they are giving to owners of non-bankable businesses during the current covid-19 global crisis.

Note: the group leader is alone in this photo because of covid-19 social distancing regulations.
