Jane's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy different types of cereal grains, such as corn and beans, to sell so she can earn more income.

Jane's story

If you are looking for someone who is hardworking and dedicated to her work, look no further. Jane, shown above in her simple house, is a 47-year-old mother who portrays these traits. She is a smallholder farmer who resides in a remote village in Vihiga.

Jane specializes in crop and dairy farming. Through farming, she has been able to provide for all her family’s needs. She is a woman with great knowledge of the economic trends in her area, and she has acquired many skills and sales knowledge through this business.

As a result, she deems the cereal business to be one of the highest profit-making businesses in her village. However, her savings aren’t enough to start this new enterprise, and she has requested assistance from Juhudi.

Profits from the cereal business will be used to repay the loan and to improve her living conditions and those of her 2 school-going children.

Jane thanks her lenders, for it is only through this loan that she can access the opportunities awaiting her and enjoy success. Be part of this African success story by clicking the lend button to fuel her future!
