Aquiles's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand his pig sty and buy piglets during the Covid-19 pandemic economic crisis.

Aquiles's story

Meet Aquiles. He is a hardworking 72-year-old Panamanian who lives in the rural town of Santa Librada, East Panama. Here he has dedicated his life to agriculture. He raises chickens, pigs and ducks, and is known for his responsibility and honesty in his community.

With this loan, Aquiles is planning to expand his pig sty and buy more piglets. He feeds his animals with the corn of his own farm, providing good quality and naturally-raised pigs to people of his community while keeping his operational costs low.

Young farmers in Panama have very limited options to access microloans. Thank you for supporting Aquiles. This loan will help his family and grow his young farming microenterprise.
