A loan helped to buy sodas, beers, and snacks and she is also going to start preparing tamales so she needs corn, meat, sauces and disposables.

Flor Maria's story

Flor is 58 years old and lives in the municipality of Sonson. She’s a happy married woman who has three children who are the love of her life.

Her husband has provided for her so she didn’t have a job, but after seeing her husband struggle and seeing the economic difficulties of her family, she knew she had to do something to provide for her family, and it wasn’t going to be easy, especially in her town that is in post-conflict where there are not many opportunities. But 18 years ago she started a little store, a business that has made her very proud and now she can give a good life to her family. She dreams of being successful and seeing her family happy and safe.

She’s asking for a loan to buy sodas, beers, and snacks and she is also going to start preparing tamales so she needs corn, meat, sauces and disposables.
