Eugenia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fodder for her cattle and a seed drill for planting new crops.

Eugenia's story

Eugenia thanks the Kiva lenders for the previous loan that helped her to purchase a tractor to process her land more efficiently. As a result, she was able to grow her business and earn a better income.

Eugenia continues to work in agriculture. She is a hardworking woman and for this reason she does her best to be able to live a happy life. Sometimes she works abroad as a caregiver for the elderly. Her husband, Valentin, was also forced to go abroad and now works with their son. Eugenia meanwhile opened a peasant household. She owns a mini-farm with 23 cows. On the two hectares of land she owns, she grows animal feed each year. Due to the drought this year, Eugenia failed to obtain the necessary amount of fodder for the winter.

Eugenia has now decided to apply for another loan from Kiva to buy fodder and a seed drill. As a result, she will be able to provide the animals with the necessary food and to carry out the sowing work without additional costs.
