Kalimurhima Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 10 bags of cassava and maize flour.

Kalimurhima Group's story

Mrs Deodata is a client of the MFI Hekima and the president of the village group Kalimurhima. She's 49 years old, married and the mother of eleven children who all go to school. Her husband is a carpenter.

She sells cassava flour, a business she started in 2000 using startup funds received from her husband. Later on, she got Hekima involved tu support her business, which enabled her to evolve progressively.

She will use this new loan to buy 10 bags of cassava and maize flour, which will strengthen her capital. Her business' challenge is the scarcity of the merchandise. She would like to be able to feed her family and have her children continue to study.

In the end, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting owners of non bancable businesses in this context of global crisis linked to Covid-19.

Only the group leader appears in the photograph due to Covid-19 and social distancing.
