Bendu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more slippers, footballs and discs to sell.

Bendu's story

Bendu is 38-year-old, from Liberia. She is living together with her partner and one child, aged 22 years. Bendu attended school until the 12th grade.

She runs a retail business selling slippers, footballs and discs. This has enabled her to fend for her family and meet her needs without failure. Her mother taught her how to sell. She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site and has been managing her sales for 20 years now. She sells 6 days a week and 11 hours per day.

Bendu wants to continue her business; therefore, she has asked for a loan to buy more slippers, footballs and discs to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it makes her an independent woman.

In the future, Bendu wants to become a big businesswoman and build houses for her child. Thank you, funders.
