Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies for making desserts such as flour, eggs, shortening, sugar, and other items.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The group named “Mujeres Emprendedoras” is in its second loan cycle with the Women’s Committee Program. All of the members are working and helping one another to get ahead. They have taken the poverty elimination survey, which indicated that several members are below the poverty line. This means that they will need to work hard to get ahead.

One of the members is Sra. Irma. Through her effort and continuous work, she sells desserts in order to sustain her family and provide them a decent life without hardship. Irma is grateful for the opportunity she has received to join this group so that she can have access to training and continue to grow as before.

Irma is requesting a loan to invest in supplies for making desserts such as flour, eggs, shortening, sugar, and other items.

Note: The photo shows only one person, even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
