Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase fresh fruit to sell.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

This group is called Mujeres Emprendedoras [Enterprising Women] since that is what they are. They are also in the poverty elimination program, where they all struggle for a better quality of life for their families.

Among them, Nilsa stands out. She works selling fruit and says that, although her business is modest, this has allowed her to be able to help her family and give them a decent life. Nilsa stands out in the committee for her desire to overcome and will to get ahead for her family, so that they do not have to experience any type of hardship.

She asks for this loan to purchase fresh fruit to sell and, with this, to be able to continue with her work as she has been doing. She is grateful for the opportunity she is receiving to be able to continue with her work and continue helping her loved ones.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
