Moises's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand his small farming business and plant ginger.

Moises's story

Meet Moises,

Moises is a young Panamanian farmer that is known in his community for his persistence, energy and hard work. He lives in the rural community of Ipeti Colono, Eastern Panama. This community has been historically excluded from basic financial services.

Moises started in the world of agriculture at an early age and learned the principles of hard work from his family. With this loan, Moises is planning to buy root vegetables like otoe and sweet potato from the neighbours in his community and sell them to large distributors in Panama city and other urban areas, where despite his young age, has been trusted as a reliable supplier of agricultural products. Also, part of the loan will finance the small farm that Moises is expanding little by little (So far he has 8 hectares planted).

Moises married and has two children. Like many entrepreneurs, his family is his inspiration to succeed.

Thanks for supporting Moises, his family and his farming microenterprise!
