Juana's story

Juana is married, has a child from this relationship that is of legal age, and her husband is a farmer. They live in Montecristi, a city known nationally and internationally for its rich craftsmanship. This area has been greatly affected by the effects of COVID-19.

She is a hard-working woman who, in spite of her old age, is looking for ways to earn her own income to help her husband get through this pandemic. She used to sell clothes but now has a grocery store in her house, where she sells basic necessities. The health crisis was very hard on her; at first, she was unable to make sales because of the government's measures and the fear of getting sick. After a while, she started selling again and this is how she has been able to sustain herself, but always with the best measures.

This loan will be used to stock up her store with products such as rice, sugar, etc.
