Manuel Armando's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy infant's clothing, clothing for women and men, renewing his inventory to fill orders of his frequent and new customers.

Manuel Armando's story

Manuel is married. He lives with his wife and his 7 year old daughter. Their family unit is made up of three people which has remained together in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic. Manuel is the owner of a variety store selling clothing and basic need products. He opened his buisness four years ago and it was his wife who motivated him to undertake it. He explains that at the beginning he did not have much merchandise in his inventory, but little by little diversified the products he had. He is currently seeing a change in his sales as strict protocol has been imposed to limit the spread of the COVID-19 so it is not so easy for his customers to get around.

He has made the decision to request a loan to diversify and increase his inventory. With this working capital he will buy infant's clothing, clothing for women and men, renewing his inventory to fill orders of his frequent and new customers. He hopes that the investment will increase his sales and in this manner generate greater economic income. Although this won't be easy as the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting El Salvador.

He hopes to keep himself working in order to get over the social and economic effects caused by the pandemic. As for his family he hopes to provide them with a dignified lifestyle.
