Adelaida Haydee's story

Adelaida, age 53, is married and has two grown children. Her husband is an artisan. They lives in Los Bajos de Montecristi, a place with humble people devoted to making handicrafts. This place has been greatly affected by the pandemic caused by Covid 19.

She is a woman who works together with her husband in order to get ahead. This is even more so with the pandemic that has made everything very complicated. They have a brick factory (material used in building houses). They make the bricks themselves there, and they later deliver them to merchants. The pandemic has affected them a great deal. At first, the business fell off. However, now everything is returning to normal.

This loan is to buy wood, sawdust, water, and palmettos, which are the materials used to make the bricks.
