Mayiya Maricela is 44 years old, married, and has two children, ages 27 and 24. Her spouse is a taxi driver and they live in the canton of Paján, a city of friendly and hard-working people, and a place greatly affected by the health emergency caused by COVID-19.

She is a hardworking woman who does everything possible to earn resources and, so, to help her spouse with the household expenses. For a long time, he was unable to work because it was not allowed. Before the pandemic, she had a stationery store but she left this business because there were no sales, so she began to sell clothing and cosmetics. She sells at her house and on social media. At first, she did not have sales but now she is going out and, so, she improves her sales. Her spouse is also going out to work and, so, they are improving their situation in this difficult pandemic.
