Ana Guillermina's story

Ana Guillermina is 68 years old, divorced, and has three grown children who are independent. She lives in the canton of Chone, where the residents are farmers, merchants, and livestock breeders. This area is known for its cheeses that have unequaled flavor and quality and have gained national and international recognition.

Ana Guillermina sells silver and stainless steel jewelry. She conducts her sales from her home and as a traveling merchant. At the moment, she sells through WhatsApp and extends credit to her customers. As a result of the economic difficulties caused by the worldwide crisis, her customers were not able to pay because they were unemployed and others had died. The health crisis was very bad at first because she was not able to sell. However, her business is gradually restarting so that she can continue to generate income.

This loan will be used to purchase chains, bracelets, rings, and other pieces of jewelry that have been ordered. Her dream is to have a shop of her own where she can continue her sales. Ana Guillermina would also like to see her family remain in good health.
