Dina Yamille's story

Dina Yamille is 53 years old, married, and has a grown child who is independent. Her husband is a merchant. They live in their own home in the canton of Chone, where the residents are farmers, merchants, and livestock breeders. This area is known for its cheeses that have unequaled flavor and quality and have gained national and international recognition.

Dina Yamille and her family have a recreation center where they host events. All of them work every day, especially more on the weekends when many tourists visit. They prepare and sell traditional food of the area such as stewed chicken, steamed chicken and rice with plantains, fish fritters, empanadas, and other dishes. The health crisis was very bad at first because they were not able to sell. However, the business is gradually restarting so that they can continue to generate income.

This loan will be used to buy chairs, tables, and provisions for preparing food. Dina Yamille’s dreams are to have a larger recreation center and to see her family in good health.
