Wafaa's story

Wafaa is 51 years old and married. She has one child still in school, and three married daughters. Her husband works as a police employee with a low income. She says that her husband suffers from some medical problems and he needs surgery. The family's income is too low to cover all of the family's expenses and obligations. Wafaa depends on her small successful grocery store to increase her family's income and help her family to meet their needs.

Wafaa has requested a loan before, and she repaid all installments on the due date. She is excited for the next loan, and hopes to increase her income to help her beloved family. This will help to provide her husband with all of the medical care that he needs, and will help to continue her son's education.

Wafaa is requesting a loan to buy frozen meat, frozen fish, ice cream, candies, chips, and other grocery products.

Wafaa's business has expanded gradually. With the help of these loans, she hopes to have a small shop instead of exposing the products to the sun. This is in the interest of food safety and the health of her village people.
