Patience's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy provisions to sell.

Patience's story

Forty-seven years old Patience is a resident of Akwadum, a town near Suhum, in the Eastern Region of Ghana. She is a mother of four, with one of her children still in school.

For twenty years now, her source of income is from the operation of a provision shop in the community. Her neighbours are able to get household consumables from her shop with ease and almost at any time of the day, as she opens her shop very early in the morning, and closes late into the night. She is such a hardworking woman. She is seeking financial assistance to buy stocks into the shop so as to meet the growing demands of her customers.

She looks forward to paying back the loan with her profits and re-investing the rest in the business.

She is grateful in advance to generous Kiva supporters for coming to her aid.
