A loan helped to renovate her old house.

Chanthy's story

Chanthy is a 36-year-old woman who lives with her husband and two children in Angkor Borei district, Takeo province.

She started her business with agriculture many years ago. She plants and harvests rice and potatoes two seasons of the year. From the business income, she is able to support her standard of living and send all of her children to school.

Chanthy is very happy because her husband is a good business partner. She aims to make improvements to her business and pursue a better standard of living.

Because of a financial shortage, she has applied for a loan in the amount of 5,000,000 KHR to renovate her old house. Currently, her roof is leaking and she needs zinc and cement to cover it.

With the loan, she can purchase construction supplies, such as bricks and cement, to cover the lack of a roof and to pay for labor costs. She hopes that, through the help of the loan, she can provide everyone in her family with a suitable place to live and comfortable living conditions. In the future, she wants to purchase a plot of land for agriculture and push her children to continue studying at university. She sends thanks to all lenders for helping and improving her family's living conditions.
