Jenny's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase retail goods to stock up her shop to provide for her customers.

Jenny's story

Jenny is a 46-year-old mother of four. Her children are of ages 28, 22, 19 and 17. She now has been a widow for over six years; she lost her husband due to an illness. She lives with her children in her own house located near Port Vila's international airport. Her community is very small, and the main industry is agriculture. During this pandemic, it has been hard to earn income.

Jenny has requested a loan to help her purchase retail goods to stock up her small shop. This will help increase her income, which she will use to expand her business.

Jenny dreams of her shop becoming one of the largest retail shops in her community. This is Jenny's fourth loan with South Pacific Business Development (Vanuatu) Ltd. She has faithfully completed her previous loans on time. Through her loans, Jenny feels motivated to expand her business and become a successful entrepreneur.
