Sandra Elizabeth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, soft cheese, corn, cooking oil, seasonings, etc. to stock her inventory for the sale of "pupusas" [stuffed tortillas].

Sandra Elizabeth's story

Sandra has two children, ages 16 and 7 years. Since May 2019, she has been separated from the father of her children. She and her children live with her mother, in a house owned by her sister.

Sandra works selling "pupusas" [stuffed tortillas] and beverages. She learned to do this with the help of her sister, 15 years ago. Now she runs the business herself, and she has an employee who helps with the preparations. She begins doing the work for her business at 10:00 a.m., but opens the doors to the public at 4:00 p.m.

Sandra requests a loan to buy basic products to keep her business going. She will buy rice, soft cheese, corn, cooking oil, seasonings, etc. With these raw materials, she will be able to stock her inventory for selling "pupusas". She hopes to make the purchases wholesale, so that her costs of production and transportation will be lower.

Her dream is to continue with her business to make it grow. Also, she wants to acquire a larger shop that will permit her to serve many more clients. Thus her income would increase and allow her to give her children a better quality of life.
