Maria Fernanda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy every day grocery items to stock up her store and school supplies.

Maria Fernanda's story

Maria Fernanda and her family live in the city of Puerto López, a place of beautiful beaches and attractions visited by many tourists. These beaches are now deserted because of the emergency caused by COVID-19.

She is a hard-working woman who is looking for a way to earn her own income to get ahead. It is thanks to these loans that she can finance her business; she runs a general grocery store and a stationary shop in her house. There, she sells a large variety of school supplies and other products. The start of the pandemic was very tough for her because she was barely making any sales. As the days went by, the situation improved slightly and although she is making sales, the little she earns is only enough for necessary expenses.

This loan will be used to buy every day grocery items to stock up her store and school supplies. She hopes to move on with the help of these loans.
