Sandabila Issaka's story

Sandabila Issaka is the father of 4 children, 3 of whom go to school. He also has caring responsibilities for another member of the family.

He is a trader and he opened a hardware store in a suburb of the capital 14 years ago. He is in his tenth loan cycle with YIKRI. He repaid his last loan without difficulty and he applied for a new loan to buy 60 metal sheets, 20 cans of paint, 14 gas bottles, 4 tonnes of cement and 12 cook stoves to resell to his customers during the end-of-the-year celebrations. He wants to use these profits to reinvest in his business and save money to take good care of his children.

He is encouraging everyone to protect themselves from the Covid-19 virus.
