A loan helped to add more food products in his food store and restaurant business.

Abdullahi's story

Abdullahi is a refugee from Ethiopia, but more than that, he is a father and business owner. He has a proven track record of success. Since he opened his food store and restaurant business, it has gained a good reputation in the camp and has a strong base of loyal customers.

It all started in 2017, when Abdullahi and his family fled the violence in Ethiopia due to political insecurities. After resettling in one of Kenya's refugee camps, he quickly started his business to provide for his family.

After participating in AEC’s business training program focused on improving financial management and increasing sales, he is requesting a loan to grow his business even more.

This loan will help him add more food products in his food store and restaurant business, offering his community more options, and giving him the opportunity to build a better life for his family through growing his business.
