Mohamed's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to add more products in his grocery store business.

Mohamed's story

Mohamed is a refugee, but more than that, he is a business owner. He has a proven track record of success. Since he opened his grocery store, it has gained a good reputation in the camp and has a strong base of loyal customers.

It all started in 2014, when Mohamed fled the violence in Sudan due to political insecurities. After resettling in Kakuma 4, one of Kenya's refugee camps, Mohamed quickly started his business to earn a living.

After participating in AEC’s business training program focused on improving financial management and increasing sales, Mohamed is requesting a loan to grow his business even more.

This loan will help him add more products to the grocery store business, offering his community more options and giving him the opportunity to build a better life through growing his business.
