Saine Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy small fish, which will strengthen her capital.

Saine Group's story

Madam Claudine is a client of the microfinance institution ‘Hekima’ and presides over the village group “Saine”. She is 48 years old, married, has 8 children who are all in school, and her partner works in business.

She sells small fish for a living and started this business in 2014 with start-up capital from the Hekima programme to support her business. The business has gradually evolved since then. With this new loan, she is going to buy small fish, which will strengthen her capital. Her business has no problems.

She would like to continue being able to feed her family and wants her children to continue studying. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to owners of businesses that cannot be exchanged for cash in this global COVID-19 crisis. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19 in compliance with social distancing measures.
