Umwete Kageyo Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more inventory to sell at her store.

Umwete Kageyo Group's story

Cesarie is 53 years old and a mother of four children, all of whom are attending school. She is very committed to the wellbeing of her family, so she always has hopes of improving her family’s living standards.

Cesarie owns a small retail shop where she sells various types of soft drinks, sugar, potatoes, and other basic goods. She has been in this business for the past year and has no employees. Cesarie is gradually expanding her business, but the lack of capital prevents her from reaching her sales targets, which threatens the profit growth of her business. For this reason, Cesarie is requesting a loan to buy more inventory so that she can be in possession of sufficient stock to sell. This will increase her sales and her revenues. She believes that her business will be flourishing in the future.

This Cesarie’s second loan cycle with VisionFund Rwanda. She is truly thankful to the Kiva lenders for offering her this loan.
