Erdis's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 100 hazelnut seedlings to plant in his family's orchard.

Erdis's story

Erdis is the oldest child in his family. He is planning to make an investment that will enable his family to earn a good annual income within a few years. "I have started working since I was 12 years old with my father. We have planted different vegetables to provide for our family. A few years ago, I emigrated for the first time to Greece, where I could understand the importance of an orchard. In our region, the hazelnut is very famous and most of our neighbors have been planting and harvesting them for years. I want to invest in a hazelnut orchard, which I'm sure will generate profits within a few years!" said Erdis optimistically during his interview.

Erdis is running his family’s agricultural business at the moment. He also works at a nearby fruit and vegetable warehouse, where he is mainly responsible for loading and unloading shipments. He travels to Greece to find work when there are no jobs in his village.

Erdis is a very hardworking young man who is hopes that the Kiva lenders will support his plan. He really appreciates their support and wishes them a prosperous and cheerful season.
