Moses' Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase hybrid seeds and fertilizer to improve his harvests of maize.

Moses' Group's story

Pictured above is Moses, often described as an extremely resourceful person. He is 74 years old and has five children. As a group leader, he is representing his group of seven farmers in Alego District, Kenya.

Moses is returning this season to work with One Acre Fund again as this means that he is able to have access to quality training and acquire new farming methods, which is why he decided to join in the first place. Moses says that he is happy to have made that decision because, since he first joined in 2017, he has been able to consistently feed his family, which has improved his day-to-day life significantly. Moses will use the profits from this season to buy a cow.

The group will use this loan to purchase seeds and fertilizer to plant a total of 9.75 acres.
