Hana'a's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy milk and cans for her dairy production business.

Hana'a's story

Hana'a is a 50-year-old married woman from Syria who works as a daily worker in farms. She has three children and her husband works as a driver. Hana'a and her family were stable in their country until the war broke out and it became unsafe to stay. In 2014, they decided to leave Syria and seek safety.

Once they got to Jordan it was very hard to start over a new life in a new place, with no one to know or to contact. But that did not stop them. They started looking for jobs to manage the basic needs of the family.

Both Hana'a and her husband found jobs as daily workers. But that wasn't enough to cover the basic expenses. So, Hana'a started to look for another way to gain more income. She started to build a good rapport in her surrounding and decided to use it to promote her dairy production business.

She is seeking a loan of 500 JOD to buy more milk, cans, and needed raw material to produce and sell dairy products in the neighborhood. Currently, she lacks the financial ability to support her business.

The small business of Hana'a has a positive effect on her family income and it has helped them cover all their needs and expenses. In the future, Hana'a aims to expand her business. She plans to stop her work in farms, and dreams to open her own shop.
