Federico Antonio's story

Federico Antonio is a 50 year old small business owner who lives in the municipality of Suan, in the Atlántico department. This entrepreneur grew up on a farm, where he learned to raise pigs. He began his own business where he raises and sells pigs more than 18 years ago with the goal of supporting his household financially and providing comfort and a good quality of life to his family.

Federico lives with his spouse and 3 of their four children. He has a lot of experience doing this work that generates excellent profits. Through this work he has been able to acquire his own home and provide his children with an education. His main clients are his neighbors, friends, family and entrepreneurs in the pig sector. This business has been very profitable for this small business owner, but his income was affected a bit by the pandemic.

He needs to strengthen his business plan with a financial reactivation and for that reason, he is applying for a loan through Kiva, his first loan through the Fundación Santo Domingo. He will use it to purchase small pigs for marketing and to improve his processes and customer service. This investment will allow him to adequately attend to his client’s requests, and increase his business’s sales and profits. This will provide his family with a better quality of life.

Support his business loan, it will be a success.
