Aline Mahao's story

Aline Mahao lives in an urban area which is situated just 10 minutes drive to Port Vila City. Her community is one of the largest residential areas, and the main industry is Foodie and Kava.

Kava being a customary drink that is drunk during special ceremonies or it can be used socially if one is feeling tired from a hard days work. Aline Mahao is 53 years of age with five children, three of which are grown and two still in college. She is a widow of seven years and currently resides with her children in an apartment.

Aline Mahao has requested a loan to help her purchase new pattern fabric and sewing materials so she can sew new garments that will better provide for her customers and also to pay for some housing materials which she will use to build her family home.

She has been sowing for quite some time, became serious in the business in 2018. With the revenue, she will use to complete her family dream home. This is Aline Mahao's fourth loan with South Pacific Business Development (Vanuatu) Ltd. She has been faithful in completing her previous loans on time.
