Concepcion Esperanza's story

Concepcion Esperanza is 47 years old, in a common-law relationship, and has 3 children of legal age. Her life partner works selling shrimps. They live in San Agustín, a sector of the road Tosagua Bahía de Caráquez where most of the people work in agriculture, cattle ranching and selling farmed shrimp.

Concepcion Esperanza works selling different clothing for women, men and children. She buys from distributors that give her good prices and have good quality products. She works 3 days a week, 2 to 3 hours a day. She gives credit to her customers and collects the money every eight days.

During this world crisis she has gone through financial difficulties. Her customers cannot pay her because they are unemployed and others have passed away. The health crisis was very hard for her at the beginning because she couldn’t sell, but now she is slowly reactivating her business to continue generating incomes.

She will use this loan to buy jeans, shorts, T-shirts, dresses, pajamas, etc. Her dreams are to have a boutique and to see her family healthy.
