A loan helped to purchase shrimp.

Maria Auxiliadora's story

Maria Auxiliadora is a single mother of one adult child. They own their house. They live in San Agustín, which is a sector on the Tosagua Bahía road from Caráquez, where the people work in agriculture, raise animals, and work selling shrimp from pools.

Maria Auxiliadora works selling shrimp through various sectors of the city and other sectors. She purchases them at the shrimp farms in the sector and, for her customers who always order from her, she generally delivers the fresh product on the weekends.

At first the health crisis was very bad for her since she was unable to sell but now, little by little, she is reactivating it so to be able to continue generating her income.

This loan is to purchase shrimp and pay for some basic services. Her dream is to have a refrigerator and that her family is very healthy.
