Angelica Cecilia's story

Angelica Cecilia is an enterprising woman, 35 years old, and a resident of the city of Cartagena de Indias where she lives with her child and spouse. In addition, she has a provisions and groceries business there. Angelica began this business over 4 years ago, approximately. She began this business at her own initiative, with the desire to offer her family and her child a better quality of life. She began with a little savings and she has been able to position herself in the sector as a responsible and hard-working person. She offers her services daily with payments in cash or on credit to her primary customers, who are the neighboring stores and those near the sector. Due to health reasons and mandates of the national government because of the COVID-19 pandemic, she had to suspend her business.

Currently, she is applying for her first Kiva loan, with Fundación Santo Domingo, thanks to the Cartagena Responde plan, to increase the working capital and to purchase supplies such as vegetables in bulk and fruit wholesale to increase her sales volume and the profits from the business. Support her in her business loan.
