Laila's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Laila.

She is a 43-year-old married woman with three sons. Laila runs a food stall, and her husband has been working as an employee for seven years.

One of her sons is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for her child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

Laila has applied for a loan of 4,500,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a laptop for her child’s education needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a laptop, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her food business.

Laila is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children, improves their living conditions, and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank to all lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Laila’s son, who still in school.
