but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flours, yeasts, eggs, dairy, etc.

Lenia Del Rocio's story

Lenia Del Rocia and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016 and now by COVID-19. The city is rich in its production of green vegetables, legumes and tropical fruits for internal consumption.

Lenia Del Rocio and her life partner have a bakery store at their house where they make different types of breads, cakes and snacks. Her husband delivers the products to the customers’ houses, stores, bars, restaurants, etc. They also have a small grocery store where they sell a good amount of products, but mostly dairy, sodas, beverages, etc.

Their work schedule is from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. She works every day starting early in the morning. The health crisis hit her hard at the beginning because she couldn’t sell, but now little by little the business is being reactivated to continue generating incomes.

This loan will be used to buy flours, yeasts, eggs, dairy, etc. Her dreams are to have a truck to make the deliveries, and to see her family with good health.
