Tankoudougou Rihanata's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy threads and dye for weaving and to save to pay for special occasion clothes for her children.

Tankoudougou Rihanata's story

Tankoudougou Rihanata is mother of five children, four of whom attend school. She has been weaving pagnes [traditional cloth wraps] in an outlying neighbourhood of the capital for more than 10 years.

Tankoudougou Rihanata is on her eighth loan cycle with YIKRI, and she repaid her first Kiva loan without difficulty. She is requesting a new loan to purchase weaving threads and dye in order to weave enough pagnes and satisfy her customers. She plans to use the profits to reinvest in her business and to save to pay for special occasion clothes for her children.

She invites everyone to respect the restrictions in place to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
