but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase foam sheets, floral tape for her artificial flowers and also purchase plain fabric and fabric paints in order to create beautiful garments to increase her income.

Valerie's story

Valerie is a very creative and talented youth who is 20 years old. She lives with her parents and grandmother in their own home situated in an urban area located near Port Vila's international airport. Her community is quite large, and the main industry is agriculture. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, affecting the world, it can be hard to earn a stable income.

Valerie has requested a loan to purchase foam sheets, floral tapes for her artificial flower products and also purchase plain fabric and fabric paints to paint new designs on her new garments which will attract more customers. This will help grow her revenue, which she will use to help her parents renovate their home and make an extension. Valerie has the passion to create different types of artificial flowers and painting designs. She started it all in 2018. This is Valerie's third loan with South Pacific Business Development (Vanuatu) Ltd. She has successfully repaid her previous loans on time. Valerie feels the drive to expand her business' and become one of the largest artificial flower suppliers in the city.
