Kuña Pyahu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour, eggs, butter, sugar, and other products.

Kuña Pyahu Group's story

The "Kuña Pyahu" loan group is on its eighth loan cycle as part of the women's committee programme. All the women are heads of family and have a desire to do overcome obstacles; they are very positive about moving forward.

One member of the group of note is Herminia. She makes and then sells cakes and cheese breads as a street vendor. Herminia mentions that, although her work is modest, it has helped her and allowed her to move forward with her loved ones so that they need for nothing. Herminia describes herself as a dedicated person who works hard to continue giving the best to her family so that they do not need for anything.

Herminia is applying for this loan to buy ingredients to make cakes and cheese breads. She will buy flour, eggs, butter, sugar, and other products to continue with her sales.

Note: although this is a group loan, only one person appears in the photo. Taking the group photo was not possible owing to COVID-19 restrictions.
