Jekabaara Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy animals for resale in order to cover household expenses.

Jekabaara Group's story

Djibril is a Malian farmer of 44 and the father of ten children. Outside of agriculture, he has also worked with livestock for the past 8 years with the help of his wife. He can be seen in the photograph above holding the cord around the bull's neck.

In order to develop his livestock business, Djibril has partnered with RMCR to increase his financial capital.

Djibril purchases his animals from the livestock marketplace in his own village. His livestock are treated well and seen to by a veterinarian. He is usually able to earn at least 55 000 FCFA each cycle. This income allows him to care for household expenses, including education, healthcare, food, and clothing for his children.

With the help of RMCR, Djibril hopes to encourage his brothers to work with livestock as well, in order to avoid the risks that come with a rural exodus.

Djibril's goal is to obtain more funds in order to properly teach his children animal husbandry, including veterinary services.
