Benkadi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy animals for resale in order to provide for her children.

Benkadi Group's story

Tene is holding a ram by its horn in the photo. She is 44 years old, married, and the mother of 6 children, five of whom are in school. She has been raising sheep for 11 years. She wants to develop her business by taking out a loan with RMCR in order to buy some rams. She buys her rams at fairs in the area and resells them at these same fairs. Her potential profit is 70,000 CFA.
The income Tene makes from the sale of the rams is used to support her family. The problem she is facing has to do with an animal epidemic, but she is taking steps to confront this phenomenon. In the future, she hopes to obtain more financing to grow her business and make enough of a profit to build a house for her children. NB: Because of COVID-19, Tene is alone in the photo.
