Esperance's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase larger quantities of inventory.

Esperance's story

Esperance is a refugee who has been living in Rwanda since she and her family fled violence in the Congo in 1996. Today, Esperance is a mother of six children, all of whom still reside in the camp.

In 2015, Esperance started selling clothing fabrics to be able to provide more opportunities for her growing family. Since then, Esperance’s business has expanded from selling only retail to becoming one of the most reliable wholesalers in the camp.

The previous loan helped her purchase inventory to satisfy the increasing demand from her loyal customers. However, the demand keeps increasing, and she would like to request a second loan to help her purchase larger quantities of inventory and provide the ability to introduce new products to her customers.
