A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase sales of organic milk and income from breeding livestock.

Sayra's story

Sayra is 64 years old, widowed, and has two children. She has a secondary education, and her character is hardworking, ambitious, and enterprising. She is knowledgeable about running a farming business, and is able to invest as needed. Since 1989, she has been engaged in animal husbandry for her family's main source of income. Thanks to her persistent hard work and responsible approach to the business, she has managed to develop the farm to have 23 cows, 50 sheep, and ten horses.

In order to further develop her farm, she has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 120,000 som (KGS) to purchase dairy cows so as to increase her sales of organic milk and income from breeding livestock. She intends to use the funds from the loan to further develop her farm.
