A loan helped to maintain twelve manzanas [20.4 acres] of coffee.

Martha's story

Martha is a single mother and an enterprising woman. Martha grows coffee and basic grains, raises pigs and has a small business selling grocery items and clothing. She has two adult children who help her with the manual crop-growing activities.

With a lot of effort, savings and dedication, Martha has managed to increase her assets. With the income from her businesses, she has succeeded in building a house, making new investments in her crops and paying her household expenses.

Martha is applying for a loan to maintain twelve manzanas [20.4 acres] of coffee. The funds will be used to purchase 50 quintals of fertilizers which will be applied to her coffee.

Martha’s wish is to continue supporting her children and improving her family’s finances every day.
